Crow Wing County is part of Minnesota’s Ninth Judicial District and maintains a single trial court that handles every category of legal dispute arising within the county. The Crow Wing County District Court, located in the Judicial Center in Brainerd, holds original jurisdiction over civil, criminal, family, probate, juvenile, traffic, and conciliation matters. Court records generated through these proceedings—orders, judgments, motions, complaints, affidavits, exhibits, transcripts, docket entries, and more—are preserved to ensure transparency, support legal research, and allow the public to track case outcomes.
Residents and other interested parties searching for court case information in Minnesota can use several channels. The Minnesota Judicial Branch website serves as a central hub for locating courts, understanding filing procedures, and accessing case records statewide. Records may also be obtained directly from the Crow Wing County court clerk’s office, through public-access computer terminals at the courthouse, or via online tools maintained by the state. MinnesotaCourts.us may also help users locate publicly available court case information across the state’s district courts.
